Promoting spiritual health for Christian leaders by providing a safe place for a time of refreshing and a listening ear for those serving in Christian ministry.
Our Vision
Provide a place where those serving in Christian ministry can find rest, relaxation, refreshment, restoration, and Spiritual renewal in an environment that promotes stillness before the Lord to hear His gentle whisper. We offer a clean, quiet place to stay as well as being available to those with ministry hurts, experiencing ministry burnout, trauma, or just needing a neutral listening ear in a safe environment free of judgment and expectation.
Everything we do is focused on serving, encouraging and inspiring Christian leaders. Pastors and missionaries need to put effort into keeping their relationship with God and their spouses strong. Our purpose is to make that easier. We encourage guests to remove themselves from the rush, relax, be still before God and rest in Him.
Providing A Safe Place To Relax
Peaceful Quiet Private Accommodations
What you should expect for your stay at Whispering Cedars is a clean, comfortable, quiet place of refuge. It is in the lower level of our home. Your accommodations include a bedroom with a king size bed, a private bathroom, and family room with a kitchenette. The bedroom and family room both have TV’s with Roku. All linens are provided including towels and bedding, etc. The kitchenette is stocked with a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster oven, coffee mugs, paper products including plates, bowls, and plasticware for your convenience as well as coffee, tea, creamer, and bottled water.
A simple continental breakfast is provided including things like hard boiled eggs, fruit, muffins, bagels, oatmeal and juice.
